Modern public training often treats **myth** as what **record** outgrew: childish, naive, ignoramus — the flights of a “crazy” person once serious people have facts and credentials.

That contempt is **social technology**. It keeps personal and community symbol in a **shame drawer** while **authorized** storytellers (state, brand, platform, documentary-as-truth) use myth at scale without the same insult.
